Steganography Detection on the Internet Verifying Hidden Content Statistical tests indicate likelihood of steganographic content but do not guarantee presence of hidden message. To verify hidden content, we need to launch a dictionary attack against JPEG files. Developed Stegbreak to determine if content was hidden with JSteg-Shell, JPHide or Outguess 0.13b. Systems use user-supplied secret to embed a hidden message and additional header information. We use a guessed key to retrieve header information and check its correctness. OutGuess has too many password candidates because of limited header information.
